HUSKER FOOTBALL: RB Washington Cited For Drug Paraphernalia

LINCOLN–(KFOR June 4)–Nebraska football player Maurice Washington has been busted for possession of drug paraphernalia.

UNL Police on Tuesday were called to Washington’s dorm room in the University Suites at 17th and R Street on a strong smell of marijuana. Washington was cited with possession or use of drug paraphernalia. No marijuana was found.

The 19-year-old Washington also faces charges out of California under the state’s revenge porn law, as well as possession of child pornography. He’ll be back in court in California on June 12th.

As a true freshman in 2018, Washington carried the ball 77 times for 455 yards and three touchdowns for the Huskers.  He also had 24 catches for 221 yards and a touchdown.
